FAQ

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE PIXELS DICE?

Official Pixels Dice are not available anywhere besides our Kickstarter which closed in April 2021. They are not available for purchase any other way because they are not made yet. We are in the process of preparing for production and will use the PledgeManager website for people to place pre-orders once production begins. We do not have an estimated date when this will be available.

We may retail them after PledgeManager but have no definite plans yet. As of now, PledgeManager will be the only way to purchase if you did not back Kickstarter.

View the Kickstarter updates for the most accurate information or follow our social media accounts @GameWithPixels on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for announcements.

Is this ad I found a scam?

Any website ads, social media ads, or other online retailers you come across that may advertise LED/Luminous/Lighted dice that look like ours and use our videos are not our product. We are not affiliated with these retailers in any way. They have taken our images to use as their own to scam you into purchasing from them, and will not deliver a Pixels product. If and when we make Pixels Dice available at different retailers, we will announce our partnership.

What should I do if I find a scam?

Scams do not need to be sent to us as there’s nothing we can do besides reporting them. Instead, please consider reporting it on your own to help us! Our team is still small, and we can’t get through them all.

Are the dice balanced?

They are very close. Thanks to their construction, the dice don’t have any major air pocket or heavy side that would cause them to be uneven. Check out the Balance section on the main page.

How do you recharge them?

The dice use an inductive charger, similar to that used in phones or toothbrushes. In fact each die will come with a case that functions as a wireless charger.

How long does a charge last?

We’ve been showing the dice at conventions for hours on end, and we can tell you with confidence that each charge will last a minimum of 5 hours of constant use. The dice use low-energy Bluetooth so, really, they use almost zero battery unless they are lighting up.

Will you make colored/black versions of the dice?

Right now, we have settled on 4 designs. Check the Vibrant Colors section for more info.

How much do the dice cost?

The prices on Kickstarter range from $40 for a single die to $200 for a full set. We expect the cost to be higher in PledgeManager because Kickstarter had exclusive pricing, but we do not yet have the exact PledgeManager prices.

Will the dice work with Android/Switch/etc...?

Yes, iOS and Android will be supported on release, and other platforms will come online as necessary.
